“Harley-Davidson has a long history of working with our union partners to manage the business. Harley-Davidson reached deals with the United Steelworkers (USW) local 460, representing about 360 employees in the Tomahawk, Wis. area, and local 2-209, representing 1,700 in the Milwaukee area. A third deal was reached with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) lodge 78 which represents 150 workers, also in Milwaukee.
The new deals, all for four years and effective retroactive to April 1, provide for wage increases as well as improvements to health benefits.
