First Lieutenant Stephan Cady has been named winner of the Harley Salutes the Military contest.

Currently deployed with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan, Cady, 24, of Colorado Springs, Colo., is due to return to the States in the summer. Upon his return, Cady will be presented with a Harley-Davidson motorcycle of his choice by supermodel Marissa Miller. Cady will also receive free Rider’s Edge motorcycle training and a trip for himself and three friends to attend an Ultimate Fighting championship event.

First Lieutenant Stephan Cody will have a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle waiting for his return from duty this summer.

Cady entered the contest, open only to veterans and active members of the U.S. military, by answering five multiple choice questions and a fill-in-the-blank question asking “What has been your proudest moment when serving your country?”

Cady’s answer was: “My proudest moment was, after enduring a 12-hour siege by 400 militants at our outpost in Kamdesh, Afghanistan, looking around me and seeing the brave heroes that I served with that day.”
