Graves offers WERA contingency program

Mediumweight champs Team Zyvax signs up

Graves Motorsports is offering a new contingency program with $5,000 per win in the WERA National Endurance series Mediumweight Superbike class.

Defending Mediumweight Endurance champion Team Zyvax is among the first to sign up for the program, worth up to $40,000 for the eight-race series. Team Zyvax will race Graves Motorsports-prepped Yamaha R6s and have access to Graves parts and technical support staff.

Getting help from Graves Motorsports with the bikes is great, says JB Layman, owner of Team Zyvax. The best part of the program for me is having trackside support at every race. Now, if we need a part or something is not working right, they will be there with whatever we need. I believe that this will be the part we were missing last year to get to the top of the overall podium. I am expecting great things out of the team for this year.

Graves Motorsports new contingency program was created to support grass roots racing and to mark the companys 20th anniversary.

We race what we sell and we sell what we race, bridging the gap between the haves and the have nots, says Chuck Graves, president of Graves Motorsports. This was Graves Motorsports original mission statement. Now, 20 years later, were still at it improving our products and boosting our support of motorcycle road racing around the country.
