The International Motorcycling Federation is producing a new website showcasing video content from over ten years of motorcycle competitions.

The FIM announced a new three-year partnership with digital entertainment specialist Perform to develop a new official broadband video site. The new site will offer live and video-on-demand content, providing footage of the latest events and archival video of all FIM-governed motorcycle disciplines, including road racing, motocross, trials, endure, cross country rallies and track racing.

The partnership with Perform gives us a fantastic opportunity to engage motorcycle racing enthusiasts around the world, says Olivier Godallier, marketing and communications director of the FIM. It will mean millions of fans will be able to get their fix of the sport on-demand, whenever they want, wherever they want. We are very optimistic that this platform will not only deliver an excellent service to our existing community but also enable us to reach out to new target groups.

Perform provides its services to several other sports and their governing bodies such as Premier League soccer, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and the ATP and WTA tennis associations.

This is an important partnership to help drive interest in FIM disciplines and motorcycling as a whole, giving fans around the world access to an unprecedented motorcycling video library, says Oli Slipper, joint chief executive officer of Perform. Performs experience with managing digital solutions for numerous international sports federations and governing bodies and the quality of FIMs content will expand the reach of the FIM brand and events, increase the level of user engagement and attract new fans globally.
