FGR Midalu 2500cc V6 Naked Unveiled
The FGR Midalu is naked motorcycle powered by a 2442cc 90 degreeV6 engine claiming 240hp and over 147 ft-lb. FGR claims a weight of 595 pounds and rates fuel economy at about 30 mpg.
FGR is a Czech race team that made its 125cc World Championship debut in 2010 with racer Ladislav Chmelik riding a Honda in a wild card entry at the Czech Republic Grand Prix. The Midalu project has been in the works for six years and was partially funded by the Czech Republics Ministry of Industry.
Designed by Stanislav Hanus, the Midalu uses a tubular frame while the seat unit and fuel tank are carbon fiber.
The Midalu will undergo testing through 2011 with FGR planning to produce six models for sale in 2012.
