Eslick signs with Richie Morris Racing

RMR enters second Buell 1125R in Daytona Sportbike class
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Feb. 12, 2009
Richie Morris Racing has signed Danny Eslick to race in the AMA Daytona Sportbike class.

Eslick will ride a factory-backed Buell 1125R sponsored by Bruce Rossmeyers Daytona Racing and Shelly Rossmeyer Motorcycles of Daytona. Eslick will join the Geico Powersports sponsored Michael Barnes under the Richie Morris Racing banner.

Weve been working on this deal since we announced the Geico team, and its great to finally reveal our plans for the second team, says team owner Richie Morris. Bruce (Rossmeyer) and I have been partners since 1994 and it is exciting to continue our relationship. It is equally exciting to have a young hard charger like Danny on board.

Danny Eslick will join Michael Barnes who will race this Geico-sponsored Buell 1125R.
A former flat track racer, Eslick finished third in the 2005 AMA Formula Xtreme championship including a fourth-place finish in that seasons Daytona 200. In 2008, Eslick finished 10th in the AMA Supersport class and 11th in the Formula Xtreme standings for Matsushima Suzuki.

I am excited to begin a new era in my racing, says Eslick. I have known Michael Barnes for years and we work well together. I cant wait to learn from him and have some sweet battles up front.
