Erik Buell Racing announces 1125R builds
Track-only 1125R, 1125RR and 1190RR offered
Erik Buell Racing will offer a Daytona Sportbike spec 1125R, an American Superbike spec 1125RR and a “Euro spec” model dubbed the 1190RR.
The 1125R, with a claimed output of 135hp at the rear wheel, will be similar to the championship-winning bike Danny Eslick rode in the 2009 Daytona Sportbike season.
Introduced during the 2009 season amid much controversy, the 1125RR has a claimed output of 175 rwhp.
More details and pricing for the 1125R and 1125RR will be released Dec. 20.
Details about the Euro spec model will be released Dec. 30, but Erik Buell Racing says it will have 185 rwhp. No images have been released but as the company is licensed to produce bikes based on the 1125R, it’s expected to share many of the same components.
Erik Buell Racing will also offer premium race components for the Buell 1125R, XB and XBRR motorcycles. According to a message on its website, http://www.erikbuellracing.com/, the company is still in the process of moving inventory to its new facility, and a full catalog of parts will be available Jan. 5, 2010.
Erik Buell Racing will also offer include engine and chassis prep, dyno tuning, 3D CAD design and machining services.
