More Suzuki bikes up for grabs

Company giving away two more motorcycles at AMA events

By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Mar. 14, 2008
Riders attending American Motorcyclist Association events have a chance to win two new Suzuki motorcycles.

In previous years, seven Suzuki DR-Z400S dual-sport bikes have been given away in a draw during the AMA Suzuki National Dual Sport Trail Ride series. This year, Suzuki will also give away a new streetbike at the AMA Suzuki Signature Events series.

“Since Suzuki began its partnership with the AMA, we’ve more than doubled the number of events,” says Dave Hembroff, AMA road riding manager. “The Suzuki name has become synonymous with this type of riding, and every rider who participates in the AMA Suzuki National Dual Sport Trail Ride Series is eligible to win the DR-Z.”

The Signature Events will be part of the AMA Premier Touring series, giving road riders a chance to win.

“AMA Suzuki Signature Events are a collection of unique, high-profile road-riding events,” says Hembroff. “Thousands of riders plan their entire season around them.”

The 2008 Signature Events series will include stops at Arizona Bike Week, the Republic of Texas Rally, the Killington Classic and the Las Vegas Bike Fest. This is the first of a three-year sponsorship agreement. Suzuki has been a sponsor of the National Dual Sport series for 15 years, and has extended that partnership for three more years.

“AMA Recreational Riding is proud that American Suzuki has committed to these two great series for the next three seasons,” says Hembroff. “With such a wide range of quality motorcycles, Suzuki has a bike for every kind of rider.”
