EICMA 2010: Triumph Daytona 675R Details
Like the Tiger 800 and 800XC, photos of the 2011 Triumph Daytona 675R were leaked in the weeks leading up to the Milan show. No details were announced at the time, though the images did reveal some of the upgrades over the base Daytona 675.
Triumph replaced the base 675’s Kayaba suspension for fully adjustable Ohlins NIX30 forks and MotoGP-developed TTX36 twin tube monoshock. Brakes were also upgraded with Brembo four-piston radial monobloc calipers.
Other upgrades include a factory-fit quickshifter and various carbon fiber parts.
The engine remains untouched, using the same here-cylinder engine as the base Daytona 675 claiming 124hp at 12600rpm and 53 ft-lb. at 11700rpm.
U.S. pricing hasn’t been announced, but expect a significant increase from the base model’s $10,499 MSRP.
