EICMA 2010 Preview: Honda

Eight new models for Milan debut
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Oct. 26, 2010
Honda will make its return to EICMA after deciding not to attend last years Milan show.

The Japanese manufacturer will be making up for lost time by presenting eight new models at the 2010 EICMA show.

One of the new models will be a new crossover adventure motorcycle powered by a mid-sized V4 engine. Honda has released two teaser images of the crossover which is described as having the flexibility and exciting attitude of a Naked performance machine, with the more comfortable upright riding position and design cues inspired by adventure bikes.

Honda's "crossover" will be unveiled at EICMA.

The crossover wont be Hondas only new V4 at EICMA. Honda will also show a V4 concept based on the VFR1200s engine, and possibly the VFRs dual clutch transmission.

Another new model expected to debut in Milan is the 2011 CBR250R. The new CBR250R will likely share a similar look as the CBR150R recently unveiled by Honda Thailand. The CBR150R sports the usual CBR-style body panels but the headlight resembles that of the VFR1200.
