The twin underseat exhausts on the original Monster 1100 have been swapped for a side-mounted setup. According to Ducati, the Monster 1100 EVO has a peak output of 100hp at 7500rpm, (up 5hp) while torque peaks at 76 ft-lb. at 6000rpm (unchanged from the 2010 Ducati Monster 1100).
Up front, the EVO version uses a fully adjustable Marzocchi fork, compared to the 2010 Monster 1100ís Showa fork and the Monster 1100Sí Ohlins suspension. At the rear is a Sachs monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound, like the Monster 1100.
The Monster 1100 EVO comes standard with ABS (they were offered as optional add-ons for the Monster 1100 and 1100S).
Other updates include new, lighter 10-spoke wheels, and slightly revised ergonomics. The Monster 1100 EVO has a claimed weight of 373 pounds, compared to the 377 pounds on the ABS-equipped 2010 Monster 1100 and 374 pounds on the Monster 1100S.
