Inspired by the Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans which first debuted at the 1975 Milan Motorcycle Show, the Clubman Racer is a mix of classic looks and modern technology.
Styling touches include the Le Mans-influenced top fairing, upswept Arrow exhaust, single seat, #7 plate and a bright red frame highlighting the bike’s components.
The Clubman Racer is powered by the same 744cc 90-degree V-Twin engine used in the V7 Classic and V7 Café, claiming 47.6hp at 6,800 rpm and 40 ft-lb. of torque at 3,200. The transmission is a five-speed gearbox.
Suspension is provided by a 40mm Marzocchi fork with 130 mm of travel and preload adjustable Bitubo rear shocks. Braking is provided by a 320mm floating front disc and a 260mm rear disc. The light alloy spoke wheels are the same size as the Moto Guzzi V7 Café (18-inch front, 17-inch rear) but the Clubman Racer is equipped with higher performance Pirelli Demon Sport tires with a larger 140/70 rear.
The V7 Clubman Racer is a 2010 model but Moto Guzzi says all of the unique parts are available in its accessories catalogues so V7 Classic and V7 Café owners can assemble their own version.
