Edelweiss marking 30th anniversary

Touring company hosting party in the Alps

Motorcycle touring company Edelweiss is celebrating its 30th year in 2010 with a three-day event in the Alps.

Edelweiss is inviting riders to its “30 Years of Edelweiss” Biker Meeting, Sept. 10-12 at the company’s headquarters in the Tyrolean Alps in Mieming, Austria.

Guests will be treated to traditional Tyrolean food and music and beer from Salzburg. Riders can take part in the paper chase for a chance to win prizes. Edelweiss will also provide a preview of its 2011 program, and those in attendance will be given a special anniversary rate.

The Edelweiss team hosts the company's 30th anniversary in Mieming, Austria.Edelweiss is also providing a several touring options surrounding the event. One option is a seven-day round-trip tour of the Alps from Munich, Germany, to Mieming and back to Munich. The second option is an eight-day tour to and from Innsbruck, Austria, with two days of golf in Mieming. Other tours through the Alps may be available as well.

Motorcycle rentals will be available for tours and the three-day celebration.
