Ducati Reports Rising North America Sales

Strong July results expected to continue in August
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Aug. 09, 2010
Ducati North America reported a 7.5% sales increase in July compared to the same month last year in the U.S.A., Canada and Mexico.

In the U.S. alone, Ducati reported a 4.75% increase over July 2009 despite a continuing industry-wide decline.

Ducati credits a strong product lineup for the improved sales results. Demand for the Multistrada 1200 is exceeding supply. The new Monster 796 also debuted in July, helping to buoy Ducatis sales figures.

August is expected to be another big month for Ducati as the new 848EVO is due to arrive in dealerships. More Multistrada 1200 models will be shipped in and Ducatis Unleash the Red promotion offering the option of competitive finance rates or in-store credit continues until the end of the month.

Ducati is hoping the 848EVO's arrival will help sales remain strong through August.
