Online film offers inside look at eight top manufacturers

A new online documentary offers an inside look at eight top motorcycle manufacturers, giving enthusiasts a taste of what it’s like to design, build and, of course, ride the world’s top sportbikes.
Presented for free in full high definition, Twist the Throttle offers a rare behind-the-scenes perspective on Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, BMW, Ducati, MV Augusta and Bimota. Each manufacturer will be featured on a couple of four-minute ‘webisodes’ presenting each company’s history, facilities and design centers.
The series encompasses over four hours of material filmed in four countries on three different continents. It also features first-hand footage of each brand’s top sportbikes on some of the world’s best racetracks and most breathtaking roads.
Twist the Throttle is presented by Cry Havoc Productions, the award-winning documentary company behind Speed on Two Wheels, Driving Design and Top Marques.
The series is available on Discovery Turbo Online (http://turbo.discovery.com/) beginning March 10.
