Discounted tickets for Road Atlanta
Until 5 p.m. EST on March 31, race fans can purchase tickets to the next round of the 2009 AMA Road Racing season for $40, a 20% discount from the 2008 ticket price. Children under 12 are admitted free.
Were excited about returning to the spring, not only because of the cooler temperatures and the start of motorcycle riding season in Georgia, but now our fans dont have to wait until fall to check out the new and improved competition and excitement of AMA Pro Racing, says Geoff Lee, Road Atlanta president. With the discounted ticket prices, and kids 12 and under getting in free, it will be a great weekend to bring the entire family to the races.
The 2009 AMA Suzuki Superbike Showdown will include double headers in both the American Superbike and Daytona Sportbike classes, two Moto-GT races and an East division SuperSport race.
In addition to the racing action, fans can take in stunt show performances from AM Freestyle, try a wheelie simulator machine, visit the vendor area and take parade laps. Fans are also invited to a party the evening of April 3 at Cycle Nation.
