Deep South Choppers Shocker Series
Deep South Choppers Shocker series
Moving away from the trend of fat rear tires and long wheel bases, Deep South Choppers built-to-order Shocker line harkens back to the post-WWII stripped-down bobber style: short rear fender, absent front fender, peanut style fuel tank, solo seat and straight pipes.
The Shocker line consists of two designs, High Voltage and Low Voltage.
The Low Voltage design places the fuel tank low on the frame and features aggressively placed drag-style handlebars.
All Shockers come standard with Harley-Davidson 1,340cc EVO engines and Baker five-speed transmissions. Suspension is provided by fully-adjustable Carrera coil-overracing shocks. Stopping power is provided by four-piston caliper brakes while customers have a choice of 16-inch wire spoke or billet mag wheels.
The frames feature seamless drawn-over-mandrel tubing with quarter-inch wall tubing along the backbone. Deep South Choppers designed Shockers to have 5.5 inches of ground clearance. Combined with 24-inch low seat height and a claimed weight of 520 lb., Deep South Choppers say the Shockers are designed for a broad range of rider stature and experience.
A number of customizable options are also available.
