By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Jul. 03, 2008
Yamaha Motor Corporation is auctioning Colin Edwards racing gear to raise money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

The winning bidder will take home gear worn by the Tech 3 Yamaha rider during the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix weekend, July 18-20.

The Colin Edwards package includes Spidi leathers, an Arai helmet and Sidi boots and gloves, plus a pair of three-day general admission passes to the race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and invitations to Yamahas pre-race party July 18.

The winning bidder will take home Colin Edwards' Arai helmet, Spidi suit and Sidi gloves and boots.
Edwards will autograph each piece of his riding gear and personally present his gear to the winning bidder during a special ceremony July 19.

The auction will be held on eBay with bidding open July 4 until noon PT on July 13.

All proceeds from the auction will benefit the PBTFs Joe Parkhurst Memorial Scholarship Fund, an industry-supported effort honoring the founder of Cycle World Magazine. The scholarship fund will help pay for the education of childhood brain tumor survivors.
