BMW R1200GS Triple Black Edition

Dark special edition for 2011

BMW is releasing a special edition black version of the R1200GS, the German manufacturer’s best selling model.

Dubbed the BMW R1200GS Triple Black, the special edition model is equipped with a number of upgrades and several dark components.

The special edition model comes in sapphire black metallic paint, adding black cross spoke wheels, front fork, engine and seat as well as asphalt gray metallic swing arm, rear frame and valve covers.

BMW is issuing a special edition "Triple Black" version of its top-selling R1200GS.

The Triple Black also comes with the Premium Package Equipment upgrade, offered as an option for the regular R1200GS. The Premium Package includes Enduro Electronic Suspension Adjustment, heated grips, hand guards, integral ABS and saddle bag mounts.

The BMW R1200GS Triple Black will be available in the U.S. in January 2011 for $18,385.
