Italian manufacturer Aprilia has unveiled the SportCity Cube 250.

The SportCity Cube 250 (the name Cube refers to it being a third generation member of Aprilias SportCity line) received a complete redesign, from the 15-inch aluminum wheels to the reshaped mudguard to a new, more informative analog-digital instrument panel.

The Cube 250s seat is also wider than its predecessors. The luggage rack and underseat compartment are larger as well, providing more storage space than previous SportCity scooters. Also handy is the power outlet hidden in the lockable glove compartment for recharging cell phones.

Aprilia made a complete redesign in creating the SportCity Cube 250.
The Cube 250 is powered by a fuel-injected 244cc liquid-cooled four-stroke engine that Aprilia says produces 22.5 hp at 8,000 rpm.

Up front, the SportCity Cube 250 uses 35mm-diameter hydraulic telescopic forks with 100mm of travel while twin shock absorbers provide suspension for the rear.

Braking is supplied by twin 260mm discs with twin piston calipers up front and a single 220mm disc at the rear.

An all-new analog-digital instrument panel displays a wider range of information than previous SportCity scooters.
The Aprilia SportCity Cube 250 is available in Planet Blue and Crowd Silver at a retail price of $4,699. Aprilia also offers a range of accessories such as a larger windscreen and top boxes.
