Multiple-time X Games gold medalist Travis Pastrana will compete in the March 21 AMA Supercross race at the Edward Jones Dome in St Louis, Mo.

The former 125cc AMA National champion and East Region AMA 125cc Supercross champion has spent the past two months training for the race. Despite eight 125cc AMA Supercross victories, Pastrana has never won in the premier class. Pastrana last competed in the AMA Supercross class in 2006.

Though he hasn’t competed in an AMA Supercross race for several years, Pastrana will have one advantage in St. Louis: he helped design the track.

Pastrana has won ten X Games MotoX medals and was the first person to land a double backflip in competition. Pastrana has competed in four-wheel racing, competing in the Rally America National Series and the World Rally Championship as well as winning three medals including two golds in X Games rally racing.
