Agostini to ride at 2010 TT Assen

Ago will ride 1975 Yamaha YZR500

The injured Valentino Rossi won’t be racing at te 2010 TT Assen but another racing legend will be.

All-time Grand Prix wins leader Giacomo Agostini will join the Yamaha Classic Racing Team at the Assen circuit for the June 26 MotoGP round for the 80th anniversary of the TT race.

Agostini will ride the Dutch circuit on his original 1975 Yamaha YZR500 OW23 from his final championship-winning season.  

Yamaha will also display other classic GP bikes from 1964 to 1985 at Assen, including Agostini’s 1974 championship-winning 350cc Twin OW16 and the 125cc RA31A that Bill Ivy and Phil Read rode to a 1-2 finish in the 1965 season.
