Motorcycle riders are invited to a track day at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, Calif., to raise money for local youth organizations.

3J’s Motorcycle Track Days will host the event April 22 and proceeds will go to youth organizations in Sonoma County through the Sonoma Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities. Also benefiting from the fundraiser is the North Vallejo Little League, whose home field was vandalized in mid-March. The event will follow the April 20-21 AMA Pro Racing test to close out Two Wheel Thunder in Sonoma.

Founded in 2003 by Jere Starks, Infineon Raceway’s vice-president of facilities, and his friend Jim Randolph, 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days has raised more than $210,000 for various causes.

“The 3J’s events have provided me with some of my favorite track day memories and knowing that all of the proceeds go directly to support the local youth makes the day even better,” says Ray Jonathans, a past 3J’s participant. “Infineon Raceway is an awesome track and there is really no way to describe the feeling of railing around The Carousel, but 3J’s gives every rider an opportunity to experience that.”

Track day enthusiasts can take part in the event for a $275 fee. Participants will have a full day of riding, lunch, be entered in a raffle and will receive a T-shirt. New for this year, riders will also be invited to an evening reception.

Up for grabs in the raffle are two weekend passes to the MotoGP races at Laguna Seca and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and a $2,500 gift card for travel expenses. The Laguna Seca tickets also include parking and paddock passes.
