Ducati has released a special edition Multistrada 1200S in honor of its 2010 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb victory.

The 2012 Ducati Multistrada 1200S Pikes Peak commemorates rider Greg Tracy’s victory in the 4,721-foot hill climb known as “The Race to the Clouds” in June 2010.

The special edition Multistrada is clad in a Ducati Corse paint scheme with red trellis frame, and black anodized passenger foot peg hangers and engine guard. The wheels also sport Ducati red pinstiping. Each special edition Multistrada will come with a numbered badge on the engine crankcase cover.

The Pikes Peak edition also comes with a lower carbon fiber screen in addition to the original equipment silencer and screen. Other upgrades include a carbon fiber front mudguard and custom seat with red stitching. The European-spec version of the Pikes Peak Multistrada comes with a Ducati Performance carbon fiber Termignoni silencer
