Kawasaki has released an update of the 2011 Ninja ZX-10R testing at Japan’s Suzuka Circuit.

Test rider Hidemichi Takahashi rode the new race-spec Kawasaki ZX-10R in a test session at Suzuka. Wet conditions limited the Kawasaki R&D team to just two or three laps of usable data, however.

World Superbike Championship race-winner Akira Yanagawa will take over for another day of tests July 8. Kawasaki R&D has planned several other tests in preparation for the 2011 WSBK Championship.

Based on these new photographs, the 2011 ZX-10R receives numerous updates including a new fairing, exhaust and swingarm. The new ZX-10R reportedly exceeds 190 hp while weighing 436.5 pounds. Check out the following video to hear how the new Ninja sounds.
