Zero Motorcycles unveiled its 2010 lineup of electric motorcycles including the Zero S, DS, X and MX.

With the original Zero X, motocrosser Zero MX, Zero S streetbike and dual sport Zero DS, Zero is the only electric motorcycle manufacturer with four different models.

Zero Motorcycles continues to blaze the path for electric motorcycle technology. Our engineering team has revamped, redesigned and tested four models that have considerable improvements for 2010. The result is more power on the street, a new look and an unparalleled riding experience, says Gene Banman, chief executive officer of Zero Motorcycles. Demand in 2009 pushed us to aggressively expand our presence across the United States and around the world. The enhancements to this years models will resonate with both serious riders and casual motorcycle enthusiasts on a global level.

The Zero DS gets new color options, air induction system and updated power packs for 2010.

The most noticeable updates to the 2010 lineup are the Bold New Graphics, with each model now available in new color graphic packages in addition to the Zeros original white color.

The 2010 models get more than just the Technicolor treatment however. All four bikes get updates to the Z-Force power pack with more precise cell monitoring promising a more efficient and longer-lasting power pack. Zero Motorcycles also updated the throttles, promising improved control over acceleration.

The Zero S and Zero DS get the new Z-Force air induction system which directs air to help cool the electric motor, an update Zero Motorcycles says will increase power output. The two bikes also receive new Corbin seats with a low-seat option.

The 2010 Zero S, like the DS above, also gets new Corbin seats.
