2010 Honda off-roaders and Gold Wing

CRF250R gets fuel injection
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Jul. 10, 2009
American Honda has announced its 2010 off-road line-up and the 2010 Gold Wing. They join the previously announced 2010 Honda Fury chopper and the SH150i and Elite scooters. Also announced were Hondas ATV and side-by-side vehicles.

Today were releasing 2010 Honda off-road motorcycles, ATVs, Big Red Side-by-Side, and the legendary Gold Wing, says Honda Powersports Press Manager Bill Savino. Leading the list of big changes is the all-new CRF250R featuring a whole new engine with fuel injection and an all-new twin-spar aluminum frame.

The 2010 Honda CRF250R receives fuel injection, engine and chassis updates.

The 2010 CRF250R motocrosser received several updates, most notably Hondas Programmed Fuel Injection technology. Both front and rear suspensions have been updated and the airbox has been redesigned for larger capacity, which Honda says will increase power and improve filter access. The CRF250R also receives a new single-muffler exhaust system instead of the previous dual-exhaust, a change Honda says improves mass centralization. The 2010 Honda CRF250R will be priced at $7,199.

The CRF450R also returns for 2010 but Honda has yet to announce a price.

The Honda Gold Wing 1800 also returns for 2010 with luxury packages including features such as GPS navigation, airbag and cold-weather comfort. The 2010 Gold Wing will be available in metallic red and metallic black, as well as the previous metallic titanium and pearl yellow colors. Depending on the packages, the Gold Wing will retail from $22,899 to $27,999.

These new 2010 models together with the 2009 and 2010 models already released represents our complete line of Off-Road, ATV, Scooters and Side-by-Side vehicles, says Savino. Later this year, we will be announcing additional street models. Were excited about the extensive and varied line of products we continue to offer our customers for work and pleasure.
