By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Dec. 16, 2009
SPEED will provide live coverage of the 2010 AMA Supercross season opening Anaheim I race.

Promotors Feld Motor Sports announced the Jan. 9 event at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., will air at 10 pm ET / 7 PT, immediately following SPEEDs live broadcast of the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam from Atlantas Georgia Dome.

This is the ultimate six hours of pure motorsports coverage live from one of Advance Auto Parts Monster Jams premier tour stops (the Georgia Dome) and the highly anticipated Anaheim 1 Monster Energy Supercross race, says Charlie Mancuso, president of Feld Motor Sports. Fans will be able to literally change gears from three hours of Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam coverage to three hours of Monster Energy Supercross as this unprecedented night of live television unfolds on January 9.

Anaheim I will reopen the rivalry between reigning AMA Supercross Champion James Stewart of the San Manuel Yamaha team and 2009 AMA Motocross Champion Chad Reed and his new team, Monster Energy Kawasaki.
