Honda unveiled a concept model in Milan today, the City Adventure possibly foreshadows a new development direction for Honda scooters. Besides the image above, no other information was provided regarding the City Adventure. Styling wise, it appears to be a scooter of adventurous nature with long-travel suspension, semi-knobby tires, and upswept exhaust. The windscreen is adjustable, and it appears to have ample under-seat storage.

If stopping power is any indication of how much engine performance lurks beneath the City Adventure’s fairing, it appears as though there’s plenty. In fact, the dual front disc brakes, gold anodized forks and overall appearance of the City Adventure seem to signal that, if produced, the City Adventure could be a high-performance scooter with a relatively steep price tag. Regardless, it looks to be a helluva lot of fun!

Considering the current popularity of ADV bikes, an ADV scooter might not be a bad idea. Yamaha did it before with the Zuma, and it’s been a cult classic ever since.
