A bigger bore accounts for the displacement hike over the 1125, while improved heads swirl the air/fuel mixture for a better boom and more power than even the 1190RS. Note the adjustable peg and rear brake lever. Also note the radiator fan and its surrounding ducting used to keep hot air away from the rider.
