BMW Motorrad Spezial Ex Works Customization Program For
BMW announced a new factory customization program for its Heritage and Touring models. The new BMW Motorrad Spezial program expands on the customization concept of the RnineT, adding a number of factory-installed options for the RnineT Pure, Racer, Scrambler and Urban G/S variants, as well as the K1600GT, K1600GTL and R1200RT.
Beginning in August, customers will be able to order a new BMW motorcycle with a number of optional add-ons (including both the BMW Motorrad Spezial items and existing accessories) installed out of the factory. Spezial items will also be available for sale to retrofit on already-purchased motorcycles.
BMW will offer an updated online customization tool for the RnineT models so customers can digitally pick and choose individual parts and accessories.
