What would a Harley museum be without an Elvis bike? The King owned and rode many Harleys, but this 1956 KH side-valve V-Twin is the first one he bought. Elvis listed his occupation on the papers as “vocalist,” and since he purchased it just before “Heartbreak Hotel” came out, he decided to finance the purchase paying $50 a month. Harley’s Enthusiast Magazine had the bike on the May 1956 cover with the question, “Who is Elvis Presley?” It didn’t take long for the whole country to be able to answer that one.
