Harley-Davidson is very proud of its long affiliation with our nation’s military since World War I, producing over 88,000 motorcycles for the Army. This 1942 WLA model had a side-valve V-Twin motor and un-skirted high fenders, (so as not to trap mud), a rifle rack to the right of the front wheel, shin guards for the rider, and leather saddlebags and fender rack for courier duty.
