From the 1920 through the ’40s, Harley made sidecar and cargo carriers that were used by small businesses around the country as a less expensive alternative to trucks. The company customized the cargo carriers to suit the customers’ needs, as shown on this 1941 model. A snappy paint job would also double as advertising for the business or service.
