This display is sure to be one of the most popular ones in the entire Museum. On one wall, all the various types of motors are displayed from 1903 to the present. There are also several touch screens that explain the engine specs and features, and you can push a button and actually hear what the motor sounds like when running. In the same exhibit, you can see how the single crankpin motor works in a cut-away display and how the transmission puts power to the rear wheel.
