Hey everybody!
I'm having a problem with my 82 xv750. It runs fine, if a little lean, until I get it up in RPM's. I wish I could say at what RPM, but the tach is broken. Anyway, at this certain RPM, the bike loses all power, bogs down pretty bad. If I keep on it, it will get a sort of surge of power here and there, but more off than on. I've cleaned out the carbs, new gas, added seafoam, nothing is helping. I'm not even sure if the problem is on both cylinders or just one, and have no idea how to determine that. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Check the fuel tank vent hole.
