Maybe you better get spares just in case. I always carry an extra clutch cable for my cable actuated bikes. Extra EX cables is probably a good idea.

Wink Yes

I don't know but I MAY try to find a deal on a pipe this winter and then just dump the EXUP system.

The EXUP idea is fantastic,backpressure when you want torque & no backpressure when horsepower is desired.

It's just something that can break though.

I learned this lesson a couple weeks ago. It was really hot waiting in that parking lot for the local HD/Buell truck to come get my bike. When the guy showed up, this was the convo:

Greg: Hi I'm Greg. Broke yer clutch cable huh?
Me: Yep
Greg: Mah new bike's got one o' them hydrolic clutches.
Me: Good for you Greg. Good for you.

You can limp home without a clutch, however if you break your throttle cable, you are pretty much stuck.
