I agree, solid colours will look best. We've come to accept that the Fireblad & GSXR is bound with graphics, however I didn't think the graphics did any real justice to the RC51, which would have been better with solid colours to avoid that 'just another sports bike look'. If Yamaha (or anyone for that matter) get the colour scheme right, then it will win sales & owner satisfaction too. Give it some thought Yamaha and you'll do well...

Heres my three choices:

1: Solid flat black with shiny black lettering with Titanium logo on gas tank.

2: Solid Chromed paint with black lettering.

3: Solid (7up green metal flake) or (candy apple red metal flake) with silver or titanium lettering.

When was the last time you saw a Ferrari or Lotus come from the factory with splashy stickers and graphics that could only appeal to a 14 year old skater punk? Give the top of the line performance machines the respect they deserve by using tasteful solid colors with metallics and few logos. The Japanese really need to take styling classes from the Italians, and Yamaha should pay Massimo Tamburini to design their next bike's bodywork and paint schemes.
