I have 1200s bandit , its my first bike in 10 years.

I was just wondering what type of engine oil do you use.

I just spoke to Yamaha - the rep said while the FJR1300 is not in the 2002 US lineup, it is possible for 2003 depending on emissions - that the US is stricter, and that they're still working on emissions for the FJR. (?)

She also indicated there has been a *large* interest in the FJR1300, and to keep our eyes peeled for the 2003 lineup if everything goes well. If Honda can beat 2008 emissions for the VFR, I'm sure Yamaha can as well.

Love it! Used to have a 91 CBR1000 that had hard saddlebags when I was in Germany. Best bike I ever owned! Still can't figure out what I was taking when I sold it! ARGGHHHH.
Unfortunatly I don't have the dough to dish out this year for one but next spring I'm all over it!!!!! Absolutely GEOURGOUS machine!
