Default Re: Guess what.

sounds like fun, More fun than I had

I was up in the mountains all last week farting around with a diesel fired boiler at a remote radar site.

Get up, drive to Seattle, pick up official company 4x4, drive all the way back and on up the pass, dis-assemble clean then re-assemble oil guns, control valves and pumps, light off boiler 4~5 times, call it good, drive back to Seattle, drop off official company 4x4, go home, get called about 9;30 and find out boiler tripped off again... repeat for 4 days. I think I'm going to call a contractor in !

Default It's the casinos

San Diego's back-country has some of the best riding anywhere-until the Indian casinos sprung up.

Now our formerly deserted mountain roads are clogged with cagers out to blow their social security checks.

If I come to Utah to ride will you "sponsor" me so we can have a beer afterwards?

Default We've moved into the 19th Century!

We have brewpubs now! And you don't need to get a personal license from the State Liquor Control Commission any more!

Do you get Shiner Bock in Utah? I drink that whenever I'm in Oklahoma visiting my wifes crew

Default Re: 2005 FJR 1300 Ordering & Info

I haven't seen any posts here from a 1300 owner, have I? I rode one of the first year bikes around town and I'll tell you, it's a heck of a bike; but I wouldn't trade my Sprint ST for it. It feels like a locomotive. You have serious power, but you are also motivating a big piece of machinery.

Hey Staff, how about making a demographic table that shows the ages, gender and bike ownership (Make(s) and Model(s)) of the MO members. It'd be interesting to see what the membership looks like.

I have a Sprint ST and have been thinking about trading it for a FJR but I would never consider it since there aren't any dealers who have on to test drive. Unless a friend or relitive of mine gets one so I can test ride it, I'll be keeping my Sprint.

Dear Fox News:

Fox is giving Bush a pass on this AWOL and desertion thing. Every time a guest brings it up Fox reporters quickly move off the subject. If you look at gaps in time and facts about his lack of service with the Alabama Air National Guard something is wrong. Some of the Internet sites have researched this thing and it is clear Bush is guilty at best of AWOL at worst desertion i.e. Michael Moore was technically right. If the average Joe did what Bush did he would be in prison. What Bush did cannot be favorably compared to Clinton. Clinton was openly against the war whereas Bush was for the war but wanted the poor and less privileged to fight it. I voted for Bush the first time but I won't because of the budget deficit, WMD, and his military record. Fool me once ....Fool me twice..
