I'll admit, 8 hours is a long time...
But there was a 24 hour race here in the States up until this year. |

Usually the American style of riding is more accustomed to Dunlops. If most Domestic Championship riders use Dunlops, then why do Honda and Ducati (infostrada) use Michelin. They actually do well on the GP tracks, but no so well on others.

You have NO idea of how oppressively hot it can be outside Nagoya at this time of the year. Been to see the 8 hour twice and WATCHING it was tiring. Usually in the high 90s with humidity of at least 70%. Too bad it's not televised--probably has more to do with licensing and legal issues because it seems more interesting than any of the car endurance races, but then again, I'm a rider, not a driver...
