First Post, WhoooHoooo! Way to go Ben! This guy is on a tear right now, and to beat Hodgson, and Bayliss on the track that they both know well speaks volumes about Bostrom. Ducati obviously has their act together, and seeing Ben kick butt on his beloved Dunlop's is great to see. I wish him all the luck in the world and I hope he can keep it up and take the World Championship this year. He took so much grief and flack from the media and public in general because of his performance last year, so to see a good old American boy come through and deliver the goods is great to see. Keep it up Ben!!!!!!!!!

Bostrom's talent is undeniable, but what REALLY makes me proud of him is his ability to always be gracious and an excellent sportsman. Win or lose, he is a gentleman in a time when no one places much of a premium on that.

THAT is what makes me proud that's he's an American.

Any thoughts on what Eric will do next year? It would suck if he got the #1 plate for the 600 and then jumped to WSBK.

But you can't deny that Baylis, who started from 14th had an amazing race to finish 3rd! That is a sign of a true world champion. GO BAYLIS! Go Bostrom for 2nd-he'll be a real contender next year. Edwards and Corser-go back to sleep.........

edwards and corser go back to sleep..are you a retard? Look at what your saying about the present WSBK champion and a former one. I bet you were a KR fan last year and a Rossi fan this year. Your like all the other idiots that jump on the bandwagon...when did you start following WSBK? this year at Laguna Seca. I like Ben he's a excellent rider and one helluva nice guy, but think before you post crap like your last post.

Well done to Ben,another victory to my darling Ducati, but Ben you wont beat Bayliss this year maybe 2002?Aussies always come 1st!

The main thing is that DUCATI crush that joke of a company hahahonda,FORZA ITALIA Ducati where cruely robbed last year when Foggy crashed out.

As for Corser i think you wont be employed next year.Far to inconsistant just like Foggy said...

Doohan always, Rossi yes, KR never.

Edwards and Corser are great ambassadors to sport. I candidly meant it is a shame they are not performing.

My advice to you however is; "Get a psych check-you need it".

You know, they may not be performing. But even that is something that needs to be said with some serious consideration. I've been watching both Edwards and Corser since AMA Superbike back in '94. I remember the Pomona race vividly, and thinking to myself that they were the next Rainey/Schwantz duo throwin' down all over the world. Well, it didn't really work out that way. But even still, they are both fantastic riders.

So how are they different from guys like Bostrom, or even Schwantz? They rarely ride beyond the bikes ability! Colin has allways been one that way. Corser too. I've never seen either of them really get on a bike and push it someplace it doesn't wish to go. They both remind a bit of Lawson, who never seemed to appear to taxed on the bike in the first place, with the execption of his Honda at Spa in '89.

That said, I don't put them on that list of great riders like Fogarty, Schwantz, Rainey, Kenny Robers, Doohan, Spencer, DuHamel (Yes!), Gardner.

But oh well....
