Silverstone is where they held this years Formula One race. From what I am to understand, it is also considered the "home" of British automotive racing.

Let's see: 2 in Germany, 2 in Great Britain, 2 in Italy (and 1 in San Marino). A lot of travel early, not much later in the season.



Of course, the press release also mentioned racing "on every continent"--one in Australia, one in Japan, one in South Africa, one in North America, and ten in Europe.



Hmm...seems someone forgot South America and a certain frozen spot down South.
