Not to mention spelling a person's name right is not about being an 80 year old femail english teacher. I'm not the best speller, or writer (with regards to grammer), but I think spelling prominent racer's names correctly is a little easier to get. Maybe that's just because he's American and I've seen it a lot.

You can take the easy way out and use BenBoz, that seems to be a common nickname (like Foggy or Go-Show[Anthony Gobert]).

His comment (after race 1) about Bayliss echoed Troy B's own remark. Bayliss was talking about how Edwards was probably getting fed up with him trailing him by the same or smaller margin. Edwards agreed, "He was pissing me off." He was referring to the fact that he was staying with him, regardless of what Edwards was doing to lose him.

I know he's a little more than last year, part of that is being the defending champion. Just because he is not in first place now, don't expect him to cower and cry about being behind.

And if we're going to talk about racer's attitudes, let's talk about King Carl, he was never a pleasant person regardless of results.

you are so quick to speculate. If i remember correctly, didn't ben win superpole? If colin would had stayed in, i think end result would be the same, Ben Boz #1. enough said.

Well, there are a couple of reasons why twins have the advantage:

1) Higher torque numbers, improving off-corner acceleration.

2) Narrower engine, reducing drag.

3) Power pulses are spaced wider, allowing the tire a smidge of time to recover. This results in less wheelspin.

4) They are different in terms of mass distribution. Notice, I didn't say which was better. The twin and 4 have different possibilities, leading to different tradeoffs. The current situation may favor twins in the mass distribution game.

I enjoyed watching both races very much. The first one wasn't near as exciting as the second, much more "racing" involved. What I don't understand is why I have to watch the race on SpeedVision. Isn't there somebody out there who could take over and actually show instant replays of crashes and maybe put the number of laps in the corner of the screen and get some better angles? SpeedVision does a horrible job of covering motorcycle racing. I don't know if ESPN2 is any better, but it doesn't matter as SV has most of the races this year (and every year). Anyway, can't wait to see Haga in the 500 GP this year.

Oh yeah and by the way, I hate European announcers. They wet their pants at the slightest little amount of excitement on the track and they add r's to anything ending in a. Honder, Aprilier,.....they're freaking annyoying!

Well Ben didn't seem to share your opinion after the race. Listening to what he said and how he said it, he seemed to feel that just holding onto the Honda would have been a huge challenge. But I wasn't unhappy when it lunched its engine. Nice to see Bostrom show us why Ducati hired him in the first place. But I still don't see him as a major championship chance.

Do you honestly think Okada is going to more of a factor than slight was I doubt it. He had a pathetic season in Gp's last year. Slight finished higher in the in the WSB championship than Okada did in the GP championship

and he missed out on a possible 150 points.

And as for Slight not being a factor for a number of years,in that number of years he finished 2nd twice and the one year by about a point and also finished third.
