You do realize that the race they pre-empted was an AMA 600-SS race, right?... If there is a class of racing where the outcome is MORE in doubt than a typical 600-SS race, be it AMA or World, then I don't know what it is.
I imagine it's been said (didn't read all the other posts yet), but this pair of races was some of the closest racing I've seen all year. The lead must have swapped a dozen times in each race between several riders. Exactly what everyone wants! I was on the edge of my chair the whole time. -James |

If you thought there was something better on, watch it. Otherwise go for a ride.

Pretty hard to miss actually. Ben has consistently been bringing up the rear of the Ducatis with the exception of Hodgson... who has now passed him in points I believe. Oh yeah - Xaus is ahead of Ben when he doesn't crash.

Xaus is an Spaniard, and there are a whole lot more riders in Spain than there are in the US.
The Spaniards are also serious, serious race fans, no matter what the type. Heavy turnout for Jerez, Valencia, etc., not to mention FIM World Rally and F1... --The Fox

My poor wife heard me scream at every change in lead. When Bayliss went off course she thought I was dying.
She did come in to cheer for Edwards during the final laps of both races. ![]() |
