I am 4ft 11in, 96 pounds and ride a lowered 2009 Kawasaki ninja 250 lowered with adjustable lowering links from soupy sales, made in Holland, MI. They are the only lowering links I trust and can raise or lower by twisting up or down. I have used then one all my bikes since my nephew can raise it back up easily and borrow it. lol I am currently gettting ready to buy a used 600, not sure which sportbike i will choose since i have to find the ground clearence to make sure I can lower it enough. You can also get some height wearing boots with a wedge. I have never tried the boots just lowered the sportsbike. Get one and ride on girl!

I am 5'0 . i tried out my cousins 2010 Ninja 250 today. When i try to balance onto the bike.. only my tippy toes can touch the ground. She told me i should look for an older model if the newer ones do not fit me, which seems to be the case.

The 2007 and earlier Ninja 250s are an inch lower than the 2008 and newer ones. After that, you (well, your mechanic) can lower it with a lowering link. And you could even shave the seat. But I would first see if that older Ninja's seat height works for you without any modifications.
If you're not set on getting a Ninja 250, you could get a Honda Rebel. Its seat height is less than 27 inches. |

All these women think they are short because nothing is made to fit. Not clothes, not furniture, not cars, not bikes. Go figure.
