The RC212V was also custom-built to fit HIM - not the other way 'round. One of the primary reasons Nicky Hayden has had so much trouble with that bike - he's not a big guy, but when I saw the first pic of him astride the 212, he looked like a monkey F'n a futbol, he was so much bigger.........

Sure you can. Their are many ways to go about it, learing on a dirt bike you fit on would be one way to over come the balance thing. Theres tons of lowering links available for all kinds of bikes.

The other thing that comes to mind is Dani Pedrosa's(Pro rider) Stats something like 5'2 104lbs. And he makes a living racing Motorcycles. Course they had to build the bike around him. (Side joke).Oops already stated by,....Oh me. duuuu.

Hell yeah you can ride your own damn bike! My sisters are 5", One rides a harley buell...the other rides a honda shadow 750 slammed to the ground and they both ride really well. I am 5"4 and I ride a sporster.
