I knew this would get clicked on if I titled it this way.

I think it's great there is a forum like this for women, and I encourage all to get a bike and ride. I see more and more women riding in my town and it's fantastic.
Absolutely take the bike course
and wear cycle clothing to avoid an unscheduled breast reduction. Road rash never does an even job so you won't like it. If you have kids make sure your will is up to date. Any injury on a bike can put you out of action for a few days to a lifetime, so get serious insurance. Remember if you have families, consider who would care for them and who would care for you if you wreck and lose half your face from the nose down.

Finally, a forum to support your riding. Keep it up!

Probably didn't get held enough as child, this has brought on oedipal issues which in turn engender self-loathing because frankly, his mom just wasn't that good looking in the first place. These feelings manifest themselves as a desire to put women "in their place", IE in the kitchen baking brownies......

Appreciate the effort, but not in need of nurturing. I'm smart enough to purchase it, ride it, change the oil on it, so the rest is what comes naturally. Relax dude and perhaps less caffeine? ...grins...
