Hi everyone, happy to join a forum with like minded people
Just a bit about myself, I'm from a place called Whyalla in South Australia, we have 301 days of sunshine a year but we are in winter at the moment, quite cold, but I guess not cold enough for some lol. We usually can ride all year around but I'm not really a cold weather fan. I currently ride a 1999 Kawasaki GPX 250(or an EX or a Ninja) depending where in the world you come from. We picked it up cheap as it was destined for the bike wreckers and gave her a new lease of life. I recently got my full bike licence and am certainly enjoying the freedom. My husband rides as well, he had a Suzuki C50 Boulevard 800(Volousia) and a Suzuki GS500. He also owns a Kymco scooter that he takes to work =) We are looking to go touring the country in the next few years and there are definately plenty of places to ride in Australia. Would love to ride overseas one day also. Anyways, look forward to participating and chatting to you on different subjects. Hope to post some pics soon =) Last edited by The Ginja Ninja : 07-01-2010 at 06:37 AM. |

Welcome, Ginja. This board is made-up primarily from Norte' Americanos, but we've got a few Aussies and Kiwis here as well. Even a few transplanted Anglos......

Welcome, indeed, Ginja!
Sounds like a bike-riding family, and that's the *BEST*!! I don't know much about your beautiful Country, having only been to Perth, and that was many years past, but I loved it. When or if you get to the States, post first. Many of us have guest rooms and/or garages open to vacationing friends. Happy to have you aboard the Site!

As a - sorda - transplanted anglo and fellow newb I welcome you to this forum also. Me, I've come here to try to "reconnect" with my old interest - let's hope all the weirdos on this site don't put us off too much.
Only kidding ..... the weirder the better. One day I'll make it to Oz and maybe I'll ride a bike when I'm there. Or a scooter at least.
