JoeyBee here. I'm researching two subjects:
What's important to women riders? and What led up to your decision to ride? I'm doing this for CSC motorcycles (www.CaliforniaScooterCo.com), a new motorcycle manufacturer in La Verne, CA. Here's Arlene B (no relation) testing one of the CSC bikes, and a photo of the Babydoll model. YouTube - GoGo Gear Visits California Scooter Company - TEST DRIVE! ![]() |

The posting looks suspiciously commercial, and the bike looks--well--gay. OK, let me amend that: it looks like a Mustang painted pink with an Asian engine.
Not my cup of tea, but different strokes for different folks.....it might sell in California..... ![]()

It's okay, but I think I'll wait for the trike version.

A 150cc trike? I wonder if it'll have a hitch.

Maybe this deserves a serious answer: what's important to women riders? To be taken seriously would help. Not to be stereotyped. Personally I wouldn't be caught dead riding the bike shown, but I suppose someone would like it, but the point is that to appeal to women doesn't mean that a bike has to be pink and little. Pink and little is what babies are, and they are much better at it.
Usable clutch levers, low seat height, good brakes, a reliable electric starter--in the real world, that is what we look for. Why did I start riding? Leaving aside the obvious question ("Why do you have to ask?") let me just say that there is nothing that can compare to going down a road at speed and bending into a curve on a sport bike/cafe bike, or riding across the desert at night and listening to the throb of a big British twin echoing in the darkness. When it is just a rider and her bike, the world is a happy place, and I can't think of better therapy. Ever. .....and that's why I ride. Any other women out there want to discuss this?

I guess the good part of this is that the 'picture attachment' feature has finally been fixed.

i will answer those questions....i look for a bike that is reliable and, at my age (soon to be 25) i want to look young and feminine---that being said, that ugly pink bike is not what i want.
Why do i ride? hahahaha well because i sat on the back of my fiance's bike for 1200kms in 36 hours and broke my butt...so i learnt to ride so i don't have to endure that anymore...hahahaha....found out i enjoy it too!! |
